omigod .... just saw a fb update ..... friend's wife just finally gave birth ..... was in labour for days !!!!!!!!

I was reading my friend's copy of TNP just now.....

Apparently some SAF soldiers who were doing POI duty at Sembawang Wharves took some cars that were being shipped for a joy-ride.... and they crashed them.

Not surprisingly, their sergeant (who was the ringleader) got 15 months DB.

The others were all PTEs and LCPs who were just tagging along, and they got shorter sentences.

Will post the link when it comes up on Google. Right now it's only on the printed version of TNP.

Reminds me of the time I was doing POI at Jurong Island....

One 2SG (who didn't have a driving licence) decided to take an LPV out for a joyride.

Not surprisingly, he drove the LPV into a storm drain.

He tio-ed 40 days DB. The MG gunner and LPV driver tio-ed 7 days for abetting him.

that's why a lau chek at my last incamp says they are now farming out more of these POI duties to NSmen instead ......

Extreme stress can lead to pimples.

I remember back when I was an undergraduate, I took an exam where I totally couldn't do three out of the four long questions (i.e. 75% of the paper).

I was so stressed out of whack that I puked out both my dinner that night and my breakfast the next morning.

And right after that breakfast puking, I got six to eight massive pimples on my face.

It happened at our depot as well. 2 clowns on guard duty w/o driving licenses decided to take a Merc GD240 for a ride while prowling - and crashed it at the other end of the camp.

The guard comm asked if they heard anyone driving through (on the weekend) and they said 'no'. The vehicle was reported missing for a while the next morning until it was found. Both of them spent 40 days in the slammer.

I've lost most of my ability to solve complex maths problems. It's a miracle that I managed to pass business finance by answering mainly the questions on concepts and explanations.

WTF ..... how can anyone get 7 As ? .... I thought you can take only 4 main plus 2 S ?
